O knihe: English for students of mechanical engineering
Our script hopes to take its modest place among those works enabling students to advance their knowledge in a most profitable and enjoyable way. Our students have also changed greatly during last decade. In the great majority they come to us with a solid background in the basic language, and more importantly with the pragmatic desire to make their way forward in a world where English, for better or worse, has become an indispensable tool.
This textbook has been designed with a variety of activities, language focuses and readings aiming to serve the range of language abilities the student has attained.
