While we marvel at the sight of trees and plants, and especially nature's vitality and growth, we treasure even more the permanence of rocks and stones. A whiff of eternity touches us as we wander and view mountain ranges and stones on the beach, in the desert or on high plains. Time seems to stand still and -now- appears to last forever - even the most casual tourist finds it hard to resist the magic of stones.
